Wet Dog Corp was created by Virtual Reality Development students at Ringling College of Art and Design with mentorship by Flight School Studio. It was my job to update to provide UI and UX support.
This delightful Student project called for clean UI that wouldn't detract from the VR experience so a straight forward main menu and FTUE to onboard the player was all that was needed. The countdown timer was an immersive part of the environment. Besides the main menu and FTUE work, the only big change to the game HUD I made was to the "lives" counter for the level objectives on the bottom left console.
Utilizing the aesthetic that the students had already created, I designed a simple UI that mimicked a blue print/factory setting.
